Doctrinal Statement

We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God.

We believe that God is one Essence in Three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of the virgin, Mary.

We believe that Jesus died and shed His blood as full payment for our sins, rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the majesty on High.

We believe in water baptism for born-again believers.

We believe that the true Church is composed of persons who have exercised their faith in Jesus Christ and have been regenerated by the Holy Ghost.

We believe that Bible reading, prayer, and spiritual praise and worship are essential parts of congregational expression.

We believe in the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost and the availability of spiritual giftings.

We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are given to every believer in order to empower him/her to work the works of Christ.

We believe in divine healing as part of the Atonement.

We believe in the power of God to grant us full deliverance from evil spirits.

We believe in the present-day manifestation of the five-fold ministry, given by Jesus Christ to perfect His Church.

Our Story

AEMI, Inc. was founded in 1983 by Dr. David Hoyte and his first wife Ana (who sadly passed away in 2015). Ever since its inception, we have focused on missionary and evangelistic work, the planting of churches, ministry to pastors, Christian education, and aid to individuals and families in dire need through distribution of food and clothing, provision of medical attention, and housing.

For many years, AEMI, Inc. has provided free education for orphaned and abused children who live in orphanages, broken families, and city garbage dumps of Mexico.

In 1998, AEMI, Inc. founded Sanctuary Christian Academy (SCA), a Christian boarding school for underprivileged children. This is an accredited, international school, authorized by the federal government to enroll non-resident foreign students. SCA is accredited by the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools (ACTS). Sanctuary Christian Academy offers a unique blend of self-paced Christian education, and is a place where students learn to take refuge in Jesus Christ. The academy curriculum is Biblically based, and education is disciplined, challenging, and spans Kindergarten through twelfth grade.

Also in 1998, AEMI, Inc. started Regional Christian University (RCU), a Full-Gospel, biblically based, Holiness institution of higher education, which prepares people to fulfill the Great Commission. RCU is a Candidate for accreditation with the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), and provides Associate and Bachelor degrees in Theology, Biblical Studies, and Education.

In 1996, AEMI, Inc. initiated Iglesia Centro de Oración, a church in McAllen, Texas, which ministers to Hispanic families in the Texas Valley area, and engages in evangelistic and missionary activities in Mexico.
